Wolverines have been hard at work in their PE classes this month. Students in PE have been learning concepts, skills, and strategies of various invasion games. Ms. Pond's class learned how to play hockey, Ms. Raap's class learned how to play soccer, and Mr. Harney's classes learned how to play ultimate frisbee Students have also been learning important health concepts, such as the food groups and their major nutrients, the components of fitness, the FITT principle, and finding their target heart rate zone to ensure that they are active enough to give their heart a good workout!
