Principal's Message

Welcome to Westwood Middle School, home of the Wolverines. As the new principal, I am thrilled to embark on this journey with our incredible students, dedicated staff, and supportive families. At Westwood, our goal is to foster a nurturing environment where every student is held to high expectations and encouraged to reach their full potential. We work towards this goal with a focus on our school mission: Pride in ourselves, Pride in our learning and Pride in our community.

We believe in a holistic approach to education that balances academic excellence with emotional and social growth. Our talented team is committed to creating engaging learning experiences, cultivating a love for learning, and supporting each student’s unique needs and aspirations.

At Westwood, we encourage each student to become involved in our school community through participation in one or more school activity. Participation includes over 25 sports, clubs and music offerings. We believe students find a sense of belonging through participating in extracurricular opportunities.

As we move forward together, I am excited to build on our strong traditions and work collaboratively to set new goals for the future. My door is always open for feedback, ideas, and conversations. Let’s make this a memorable and successful year!
