“When to Keep Your Child Home from School”

In the school environment, students have increase physical contact with each other.  Germs can spread rapidly under these conditions.  Parents are asked to keep students home that have the following symptoms:

• Harsh, frequent cough
• Fever of 100 degrees or above
• Sore throat accompanied by fever
• Diarrhea and/or vomiting
• Rash that appears to be spreading

**Please let the school staff know when you call in for your child’s absence, what symptoms they are experiencing.
