I have been so impressed with this group of 8th grade leaders. They have taken part in preparing students for the first day of school, creating fun activities for the student body, and hosting our first live assembly in nearly 2 years! The project I am the most eager to share is our teamwork with 2nd Harvest Foods and the Flynn Group as we have started the first Bite2Go program here at WMS. Bite2Go is a program where students take part in the inventory, delivery, and packing processes to ensure that families in need have enough food over the weekend. These students have taken ownership and have turned this wonderful service into a well-oiled machine! I am a blessed teacher to work with such amazing students!
