8th grade History students completing the "Paper Chain Challenge".  This activity illustrates how identifying multiple perspectives in history is crucial!  Students are split into 3 groups. Each group is provided certain materials to complete their paper chain. Groups have different “advantages” and “disadvantages” depending on their provided materials. The point of the activity is to have students experience how a “story” can be told from multiple perspectives (each group having their own experience with the same project).
