P.E. Class

Ms. Pond’s physical education classes have been hard at work learning the 5 components of fitness: cardiorespiratory endurance, flexibility, muscular strength, muscular endurance, and body composition. Students are exploring various methods of training and exercises to improve each component of fitness, contributing to overall health and wellness. Students pictured are doing a wall sit with a medicine ball pass as part of a circuit activity.  They learned that this exercise emphasizes lower body and core muscular endurance.
