I am a lifelong learner. I graduated from Whitworth University three times! I received a B.A. degree in teaching, a M.A. degree in school counseling and a Master in International Management degree (I also speak German). I graduated from Gonzaga (go Zags!) two times. I received a M.A. in administration (to be a principal) and a Ph.D. in leadership. I love being a student and gaining new skills.
This is my 20th year in Cheney Public Schools and my 9th at Westwood. Cheney is a great place to work and that is why I continue to choose to be a part of this community.
I have a husband named Scott and we have been together longer than any of you have been on this earth. I love to rock climb and do yoga. I also love to garden and make my own raspberry and strawberry jam. We travel a lot and have enjoyed trips to Kauai, San Francisco, Breckenridge, Washington DC, Chicago, Boston and San Antonio. On our trips, I am always looking for the next most amazing meal. You might have gathered that I like to eat and I really enjoy cooking as well.
I feel very fortunate to be the principal of Westwood. Middle school students bring so much energy and fun to each day. Go Wolverines!
