I am Ms. Alvick, and welcome to my page!

I have a Bachelors of Arts in Education, Secondary Education from Eastern Washington University. I am a Google Certified Educator Level 2. I have a Certificate in Technology Integration and a Masters of Educational Technology from Boise State University. I love working with computers and software, both in and out of the classroom. four summers ago, I built my first PC, and I spend a lot of time using it and working to make it even more powerful!

I have been at Westwood Middle School since 2014.

I currently teach:

• Language Arts (6th grade)
• Social Studies (6th grade)
• Applied Digital Skills (6th grade) 

I am also the Advisor for Dungeons and Dragons and the Yearbook.

I have three cats, Midna, Snake, and Ezio, that I treat like children; and a husband who helps me spoil them. We have been married since July of 2015, and met at Eastern while competing in track there together.

I am very excited to share my loves of reading, writing, and computer science with you this year, and look forward to seeing you in the classroom!
