Mr. Wagner's 6th Grade Science

This year in 6th grade science, students are learning about different concepts and ideas in physical science. We will talk about energy and how energy is transferred and transformed, and how the world is working on renewable ways to power homes and cars (the water wheel pictured).

Towards the end of the year we will discuss Newton’s 3 laws of motion. For Newton’s 3rd law (for every action there is an equal and opposite reaction), students will build a Newton’s cradle as well as air-powered paper rockets. It’s going to be lots of fun!
