Families: Cheney School District is working closely with and receiving guidance from Washington State Department of Health, Spokane Regional Health District and health care professionals to ensure we are following guidelines and practices that allow for us to safely serve the CSD families. At this time receiving academic materials and meals we recommend that you follow these steps to promote safety and limit exposure:

• Please do not come to a meal distribution or school site while you are sick. Instead call the parent information line at 559-4580 to make arrangements to have meals and materials distributed to you directly.
• Avoid close contact with people while at meal/material distribution sites. Health services staff are at sites to monitor for social distancing.
• When receiving meals/materials from staff please wash your hands prior to coming and then again once you return home. While transmission on these materials is low, it is still recommended to wash hands prior to consuming food and after handling materials.
