3D Art returned to Westwood this year and students are loving it!  Some projects these 7^th and 8^th graders have explored are carved tikis, ceramic bobble-heads, wire figure sculptures, and coiled clay containers.  They have also studied some legendary 3D artists, like Maria Martinez and Alexander Calder.  Currently, students are finishing up carved bowls thrown on the potter's wheel and Oaxacan-style paper mache animals.  Look for the Westwood Virtual Art Show video in June.
