times at the 2023 State Business Leadership Conference held April 19-22 in Spokane,
Washington attended by over 1,600 students from across the state. The Westwood Team had
all 10 attending members place in the top 10. Highlights include: Izzy Murray for winning state
in the Career Research event and Logan Walker in the Video Game Challenge event; Kennady
Slater state runner-up in Financial Literacy and was elected Vice President of Middle Level for
the state of Washington; and 7th graders Kennady Slater and Izzy Murray finished 8th out of
over 30 teams in Web Design, a high school event.
