The SEL Art class at Westwood recently completed a unit on bead weaving.  After studying traditional Native American designs, students created their own patterns.  They worked with looms to weave seed beads into bracelets.  Jewelry attachments finished off the project.  Students reflected that even though it was difficult to work with the tiny beads, it was satisfying to create a piece of wearable art.
