About Mrs. Tobler

My educational background includes attending Eastern Washington University and completing my National Board Certification. I completed my undergraduate in K-8 education with majors in reading and math, but continued on to complete an endorsement in Mathematics to be able to teach K-12. I earned my MED in Media and Technology in Education, my National Board Certification and a Principal Certification.

In 2002 I began my teaching career at Cheney High School teaching mathematics (Go Blackhawks). After 13 years as a classroom teacher and leadership advisor, I was offered the position of assistant principal at Betz Elementary (Go Vikings). In 2019 I was offered a full time position as assistant principal of Westwood Middle School where areas of focus are Attendance and goal setting around behavior.

My husband, Jason, and I are proud to be a part of the Cheney School District community. We are both local to the area and love all that it has to offer. Along with our daughters and dog Rook, we enjoy spending time outdoors as much as possible hiking, biking, kayaking and trying new adventures as a family. Recently those adventures included ziplining and white water rafting! Jason is a true foody, so on the weekends we try new restaurants around the area. In recent years we have tried to travel as much as possible as a family building life long memories.

I am so thankful to be able to be a part of the Westwood team. Go Wolverines!
