First quarter has been busy for Mrs. Tomsha's room! Students in 6th grade math extension are working through fraction stations full of games, hands on manipulatives, technology, and small group practice. Our 7th grade scientists have created engineering projects to prepare them to build a water filtration system and are learning how matter is recycled through an ecosystem. In addition, our new after school Academic Excellence Club has been successful in helping students prepare for tests, catch up on missing work, and raise grades while learning with friends. We are looking forward to seeing many more students on the honor roll this year!
