Mrs. Ferry’s 6th grade science classes are learning about observing physical and chemical changes as new substances are created. Recently students combined baking soda and vinegar in a closed bag. They observed and recorded temperature change, color change, odor change, texture change, and changes in states of matter; all evidence that a chemical reaction occurred between the two substances.
