About Mrs. Portrey
Portrey family
I grew up and met my husband in Ritzville, WA. After high school I earned my Bachelor of Arts in Education at Eastern Washington University. From there we moved to Texas and I taught 3rd through 5th grades for 9 years. We started our family and have 4 children that keep us busy (grades 6th, 4th, 2nd, & K)! We moved back to Washington to be closer to family, and I started working at Westwood in 2019 as the Math Intervention Specialist. Last year I earned my Masters of Science in Curriculum and Instruction and currently provide intervention support for 6th, 7th, & 8th grade Math.
